<p>PURPOSE:To simplify the constitution so as to improve assembling adaptability and to reduce the cost by interlocking with the detaching motion of a sheet supporting means so as to release pressing contact of a friction separating means with a feed means, and maintaining the releasing condition by a lock means. CONSTITUTION:When a sheet cassette 4 is drawn out from a device main body, the latch claw 41 on the sheet cassette 4 side is brought down by operating the handle of the sheet cassette 4. Hereby a connecting lever 32 is brought down so as to separate a retard roller 2 from a feed roller 1 through a releasing rod 37, and hence separation pressure is released. Simultaneously both a lift arm claw 19 and a lift lock claw 21 are disengaged from a fan-shaped ratchet gear 22, and a lift up member 23 is brought down and the surface of a paper sheet is brought down. Hereby the sheet cassette 4 can be drawn out. At this time, the sheet sandwiched with the retard roller 2 and the feed roller 1 falls on the sheet cassette 4 side. Further in the condition in which the sheet cassette 4 is drawn out, the pressure of the retard roller is held in the condition of being released.</p> |
