PURPOSE: A steam cooker is to steam ginseng to produce red ginseng of good quality. CONSTITUTION: The cooker has a main chamber having columns of stacked trays each having ginseng to be steamed. Steam from an outer source is introduced into the bottom space between the bottom of trays and the base plate of the chamber to be uniformly distributed among trays through spray device.
