PURPOSE: A roller driving gear of a single line roller skate is provided which is faster and less laborious by converting pressure of a skater into rotatory power. CONSTITUTION: A roller driving gear of a single line roller skate comprises: a roller shaft(21) fitted between slot holes(11a, 11b) bored in a certain gradient on both side plate of a roller frame(10); a roller(20) including pinion gears(32a, 32b), which is fitted into a roller shaft(21) for free rotation; leg-gears(12a,12b) fixed on both sides of a roller frame(10) in condition of going in pinion gears(32a,32b); friction drums(34a,34b) formed on both right and left side of a roller(20); friction pads(42a,42b) fixed on belt-springs(41a,41b), which make a rotation of a roller(20) stop by rubbing on friction drum(34a, 34b) just before a roller shaft(21) descends from the top of slot holes(11a,11b) and pinion gears(32a,32b) meeting with the top of leg-gears(12a,12b); elastic instrument mounted on a roller shaft(21) for supporting a speedy falling of a roller(20). When a roller shaft(21) is located on the top of slot holes(11a,11b), a length and a height of leg-gears(12a,12b) can be controlled for rotating freely a roller(20) because pinion gears(32a, 32b) don't engage with leg-gears(12a,12b).
