METHOD FOR DETECTING WATER LEVEL OF WASHING MACHINE

PURPOSE: A method for detecting a water level is provided to supplying water during detecting the water level without a sensor of water level in the washing machine equipped a washing tub not forming a water slot. CONSTITUTION: An amount of the laundry is detected and a water level of water supply is decided. The needed time reaching the established rotation numbers of a motor for an early driving state according to the decided water level is decided. The water is supplied to the decided water level during rotating forwardly and reversely a washing tub. The needed time reaching the established rotation numbers of the motor is detected in the washing tub rotated forwardly and reversely. The water level is easily detected without a water level sensor by detecting the water level of water supply, as deciding if the detected needed time is same with the needed time according to the decided water level of water supply.
