PURPOSE: A disposal process of heavy metal-containing fly ash is provided which improves disposal efficiency by shortening solidification-treatment period of the fly ash, enable to obtain solid material which is not easily crushed through high-strength compression of the fly ash particles, and make it easy to manage a disposal equipment since coagulation period of a binder is too short for the fly ash to attach to the disposal equipment during disposal period of the fly ash, and soil covering material using the solid material prepared from said disposal process is also provided. CONSTITUTION: The disposal process of heavy metal-containing fly ash comprises a step of mixing 15 - 25 wt% of liquid binder with 100 wt% of fly ash to produce a pasty mixture and a step of compressing said pasty mixture by a roll compression molder under the pressure of 1.5 - 4 Ton/cm to produce solid material having a certain size as lump form. Also, in the above disposal process, each fly ash particle is bound together since the binder is charged into the space between the fly ash particles, and the solid material from which dissolution of heavy metal is suppressed since it has a structural form that the fly ash particle is surrounded by the binder can be obtained. |
