PURPOSE: A cushion tool of a draft gear is provided to easily produce the cushion tool by integrally forming the cushion tool consisted of plural ones and to improve productivity by making an assembly work easy when the cushion tool is assembled in a yoke. CONSTITUTION: When a shock is given to a connection unit since vibration is generated in a railroad vehicle in a state that a cushion tool is inserted in a yoke installed on a connection unit of the railroad vehicle, the shock is transmitted to a supporting plate installed on the outermost side, and the shock is transmitted to an outside steel plate(7) of the outermost side of the cushion tool. When some of the shock is absorbed in a cushion rubber(9) and is blocked in a middle inserting steel plate formed with a metal plate, the shock force is gradually buffered.
