PURPOSE: A water cooling type cooling apparatus is provided to supply the cooling water cooled by a cooler forcibly into a driven wheel by heating more the driven wheel by the powder between a driving wheel and the driven wheel and to elevate the function of a clutch by improving cooling performance. CONSTITUTION: Spherical powders(8) filled in the inner face of a cylinder(11a) of a driving wheel(11) and the outer face of a drum(21a) of a driven wheel(21) are connected in chain and generate friction force by the supply of power to a heating coil(5) embedded in a case(4) if an input shaft(1) rotates and the driving wheel rotates thereby. Thereby the driven wheel rotates. The circulation of cooling water is performed according to the driving of a clutch. Then a pump(P) operates to supply the cooling water in a reservoir tank(R) via a pipe(26) connected by a rotary joint(7). The cooling water flowing into the space of the driven wheel via the pipe absorbs the heat by circling in the driven wheel and is sent to a cooler(C) via the inner face(22) of an output shaft(2) and the rotary joint. The temperature of the cooling water falls in the cooler. And the cooling water is supplied to the pump repeatedly.
