PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing metal name plates is provided to obtain precisely and uniformly formed thin metal name plate by electric casting and mass-produce same metal name plates by using the master plate. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing metal name plates includes the steps of obtaining a plate piece(10) by carving or engraving a desired brand name(11) on a surface of a brass plate with an engraving machine, obtaining a plurality of electroplating plates(20) such as Ni or Cu having the same brand name by electrically casting the plate piece repeatedly, obtaining a master plate(40) by closely attaching the electroplated plates on a base plate(30) formed of a conductive material, mass-producing a metal name plate by electrically casting the master plate as a model, wherein the master plate is formed by cutting the edges of the electroplated plates in a rectangular shape, closely disposing the rectangular electroplated plates on the surface of the master plate lengthwise and crosswise, attaching the corner parts thereof by an instant adhesive and connecting the edge parts of the electroplated plates by soldering and simultaneously attaching the electroplated plates with the base plate.
