MOTOR ASSEMBLY WITH INVERTER

PURPOSE: A motor assembly with an inverter is developed to prevent components from being damaged by lowering leakage current and neutral voltage to a level of an allowable value. CONSTITUTION: A motor assembly includes an inverter(50) for converting DC voltage(Vdc) into 3-phase AC voltage using a switching element. The 3-phase AC voltage is input to a chock(51) to compensate a magnetic flux generated on each phase, then further input to a motor(52) to drive the same. A grounded resistor(R) is connected to a neutral point of the motor(52). A value of the resistor(R) is identical to that of an impedance of the motor(52) and prevent the voltage of the neutral point from being increased to an allowable level.
