The gold catalyst for the oxidation of carbon oxide, in particular C3H6 and C3H8 for the reduction of nitrogen oxides and ozone decomposition shall find application in environmental protection. The catalyst active component is a complex of gold and reduceable oxide of the group of the transition metals. The gold concentration is 0.1-2.5 wt.%, and the total metal concentration in the active component ranges from 0.1 to 10 wt.%. The carrier is cerium and titanium oxides. The catalyst surface is from 80 to 400 m2/g. It operates at temperature range from 0 to 400oC. 3 claims, 4 figures
