PURPOSE:To obtain a synchronous machine which has increased number of conductors per one phase, a small size and high efficiency by disposing yokes on the inner and outer peripheral surfaces of a cylindrical rotor made of a permanent magnet, and providing winding layers on the surfaces of the yokes. CONSTITUTION:A rotor 3 alternately magnetized at N- and S-poles at a cylindri cal magnetic unit 4 is secured concentrically to a shaft 2, and concentrical yokes 1, 5 are respectively disposed on the inner and outer peripheral surfaces of the rotor 3. The yoke 1 of the outer peripheral side may be used as a hous ing. Winding layers 6, 7 are respectively mounted on the surfaces of the yokes 1, 5 in gaps between the yokes 1, 5 and the rotor 3. Thus, the number of conductors per one phase can be increased by twice, and the magnetic flux of the rotor 3 can be effectively utilized. Therefore, the size can be reduced and the efficiency can be enhanced. |
