PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for compound equipment enhanced in independence from the specifications of a scanner and a video. SOLUTION: A scanner is connected through a scanner controller 4302 and a G bus (graphic bus)/B bus (I/O bus) interface(GBI) 4301A to a G bus and B bus. A printer is connected similarly, and the scanner controller 4302 and a printer controller 4303 are connected directly through a CP bus. In this case, DMA transfer can be realized through the GBI, and inter-GBI data transfer can be executed. Also, data transfer can be realized through the G bus/B bus and an RAM 403. Also, the GBI and the scanner/printer controllers are connected through FIFO to each other.
