PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize thinning of a battery pack used in a portable information instrument. SOLUTION: This battery pack 1 is composed by storing a battery 3 and a battery protection device 8 between an upper case 2a and a lower case 2b of a pack case. The battery 3 is composed of a thin battery formed by storing a generation element in an outer case formed by a laminate sheet, to thereby devise thinning of the battery pack 1. The battery protection device 8 is arranged on the side where positive and negative, respective reeds 12, 13 are drawn out from a reed drawing-out side 11b of the battery 3, to thereby facilitate reed connection, and thinning of the battery pack 1 is devised by removing a useless space.
