PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely engage a driving shaft with a hub even in the case where the timing of the release of the lock of the hub of a hub brake and the timing of the insertion of the shaft are deviated. SOLUTION: A pair of hubs 3, on which a tape shaped medium 4 is wound are held in a case main body in a freely rotative and movable manner. A pair of driving shaft inserting holes are formed to insert driving shafts in a bottom case 2. A hub brake 8 is arranged in the case main body so that the brake 8 is pressed toward a hub side 3. The rotation of the hubs is locked by engaging pawl sections 8a of the brake 8 to teeth sections 3a of the hubs 3. Moreover, position controlling sections 2c are provided to the bottom case 2 to control the movement of the brake 8 to the hubs 3 side. Thus, the hubs 3 are made movable to the position, where the center position of the hubs 3 and the center position of the holes are coincided, while the brake 8 is abutted against the sections 2c. Moreover, even though the hubs 3 move to a farthest position away from the brake 8, the sections 8a of the brake 8 are engaged to the sections 3a of the hubs 3.
