PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the door locking mechanism of an automatic vending machine, whose crime prevention effect is high. SOLUTION: In the door locking mechanism of an automatic vending machine, a locking board fitted to the front end of an automatic vending machine main body, a sliding board 8 arranged in an outer door 3 and a link mechanism which vertically moves the sliding board 8 are installed. The outer door 3 is locked to the automatic vending machine main body by vertically moving the sliding board 8 and making it in an engaged state with the locking board. An inner board 31 being the constitution member of the outer door 3 is arranged near the sliding board 8 and a stopper mechanism 10 which is engaged with the sliding board 8 and the inner board 31 and inhibits the vertical shift of the sliding board 8 is installed. Thus, crime prevention effect improves since the sliding board 8 does not vertically move even if the link mechanism is tricked.
