PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the size of a structure and its cost by reducing explosive power needed for circuit breaking. SOLUTION: In this circuit breaker a circuit is urgently broken by fracturing a bus bar 20 disposed in the circuit by explosive power of gunpowder of a squib 18. A part of the portion to be fractured of the bus bar 20 is composed of a conductor 30 made of a material having lower fracture strength than that of the material making up the bus bar 20. Or else, a part of the portion to be fractured is cut off and another conductor 30 is fitted into this part. |
