PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flywheel type uninterruptible power supply parallel operation system and an operating method, capable of reducing the power storage capacity of a single flywheel module further than conventional ones. SOLUTION: Power supply to a load 3 is conducted with only one from among a plurality of flywheel modules 21, 22, 23 when there is power failure in a commercial power source 1, with the motor generators and the power converters in other flywheel modules kept from being energized. When the residual power amount of the flywheel module conducting power supply reaches the supply limit, one from among other flywheel modules conducts power supply. The power supply is always conducted with one module alone and the other flywheel modules are controlled not so as to be energized by a parallel operation control device 10. |
