INSTRUMENT AND METHOD FOR MEASURING INTERACTION TIME IN INFORMATION DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly and also surely measure time necessary to information distribution in a network by calculating interaction time between a server and a specific terminal based on a transmission request time and an information arrival time. SOLUTION: A user selects and decides information the user wants to acquire on browser and inputs a transmission request by using an input device. A client terminal 20 acquires a transmission request time by using measuring software in response to it and transmits the time together with the transmission request to a server 10. When the browser completes the acquisition of the information from the server 10, the reading software notifies the measuring software of the effect, and the measuring software acquires the time as information arrival time. Then the measuring software transmits the acquired information arrival time to the server 10. The server 10 receives the information arrival time transmitted from the terminal 20 and calculates interaction time by utilizing it and the previously received transmission request time.
