PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the sealing performance. SOLUTION: A gel plate 20 formed from a lump type waterproof rubber plug 15 and silicone gel 20A are fitted in a mounting hole 13 formed in the rear surface of a housing 1 and compressed when a cover 22 is put on. A female side terminal metal piece 3 in crimped to the termination of an electric wire 8 is passed through a hole 23 in the cover 22, penetrates the gel plate 20 in such a way as tearing it, presses wide a through hole 16 in the waterproof rubber plug 15, and is inserted into the cavity 2, and when it is regularly inserted, such a condition is generated that the lip 17 of the through hole 16 is in tight attachment around the electric wire 8. There is a risk that the edge of a connection part 4 or stabilizer 6 flaws the lip 17 when the female side terminal metal piece 3 passes through the through hole 16 in the rubber plug 15, but the silicone gel 20A pushed out of the gel plate 20 permeates eventual flaws to fill a flaw.
