PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relieve labor and time required to adjust a level of each signal depending on a length of a transmission line in the case of respectively amplifying an outgoing signal and an incoming signal sent through the transmission line of a two-way CATV system. SOLUTION: An input output level adjustment circuit 42 that is placed between an HPF 10, a LPF 40 and a center device side transmission line is configured in such a way that the circuit 42 adjusts a level of an outgoing signal by attenuating the level of the outgoing signal with an attenuation characteristic similar to that of the center device side transmission line when the outgoing signal is given from the center device side transmission line to the HPF 10 and that the circuit 42 adjusts a level of an incoming signal by attenuating the level of the incoming signal with an attenuation characteristic similar to that of the center device side transmission line when the incoming signal is given from the LPF 40 to the center device side transmission line. Since the circuit 42 can simultaneously adjust the levels of the outgoing signal and the incoming signal, labor and time required for adjusting the levels of each signal can be relieved.
