PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time required for channel scanning by storing the history of base stations with which a mobile set made communication in the past and applying scanning processing to channels of the base stations, which are stored in a base station history storage means in the case of scanning a new base station that is a connection destination. SOLUTION: When processing of a channel switching processing 315 is finished and a communicated channel is actually switched, the processing of a base station history list processing 316 is started as the next processing. The base station history list processing 316 checks whether or not a base station history table as to the base station in use is in existence in a base station history storage section 322 after the base station, and the communicated channel used before switching the communicated channel are switched based on a processing result by the channel-switching processing 315. When no base station history table is in existence, a base station history table as to a base station not in existence is generated. Then whether or not information as to the base station has already been registered is checked.
