<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the motor stator from coming off the lower drum by providing a groove in the rotary drum equipped with a magnetic head and in the inner circumference of the lower drum equipped with a lead for guiding a tape, providing a snap ring that fits the groove, and making a part of the snap ring hanging over the motor stator. SOLUTION: The upper rotary drum 3 and the lower fixed drum 2 are arranged coaxially and rotatably. The outer circumference of the motor stator 6 is glued and fixed to a stepped part in the inner circumference of the fixed drum 2. A snap ring 11 is fitted to the groove in the inner circumference of the fixed drum 2. A part of the snap ring 11 is disposed so as to hang over the motor stator 6. The snap ring 11, when fitted into the groove, elastically returns to a prescribed diameter. The material of the snap ring 11 may be metal such as phosphor bronze and beryllium copper, or a resin. A part 6a of the motor stator 6 is projecting from the notch of the fixed drum 2 and soldered to a flexible printed wiring board 10, which is retained with a holding member 9.</p> |
