PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a disk storage device with the correctable object managing function by providing an object management correcting means for correcting the function of an object managing means in response to a correction request message. SOLUTION: A request source specifies parameters for correcting object management by referring to a management table 430. An object management correction request program 420 generates and sends an object management correction request message 400 to an object management correcting program 320. The correcting program 320 executes an object management correcting routine and sends an answer message 310 showing the update result of a management table 330 to the request program 420. The request program 420 updates the management table 430 according to the update result of the management table 330 that the process result field of the answer message 310 indicates.
