PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information reproducing device capable of preventing recorded information from being forged even if it is stolen. SOLUTION: This information reproducing device is provided with a writable EEPROM 22 for loading a decoding program necessary for deciphering externally enciphered information, and a timer for measuring the time after the decoding program is externally loaded on the EEPROM 22. Thus, when the timer has measured a predetermined time after the decoding program was externally loaded on the EEEPROM, the decoding program of the EEEPROM is rewritten into a pseudo program. |
