PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detent structure for terminal capable of eliminating the interference with other component as much as practicable at the time of installation and free of risk that the turn stop function goes out resulting from breakage. SOLUTION: This detent structure for terminal serves in the case where a terminal 20 having a screw fastened plate part 22 at the forefront of an electric wire connection part 21 is fixed by a screw to the surface 11a of a projection 11 on a case 1, wherein a recess 30 to admit the terminal 20 is formed at the surface 11a of the projection 11, and the bottom surface of the recess 30 is used as a terminal fixing surface while the inside wall of the recess 30 is used as a detent wall 32 for terminal. The plane shape of the recess 30 is shaped as tracing the contour of the terminal 20 so as to specify the mounting direction of the terminal 20.
