PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic camera reproducing device that quickly reproduces data without losing the image quality even when a frequency bandwidth of a chrominance signal component is narrower than a frequency bandwidth of a luminance signal component. SOLUTION: The electronic camera reproducing device is provided with a read means 102 that reads variable length coding image signal data recorded in a recording medium 71 and information on quantization width each corresponding to a luminance signal component and a chrominance signal component of the image signal data, a decoding means 104 that decodes the read variable length coding image signal data, an inverse quantization means 122 that applies inverse quantization to the data decoded by the decoding means based on the quantization width information of the luminance signal component and the chrominance signal component read by the read means 102, and an output means 124 that converts the inversely quantized data into an image signal and outputs the signal. The output image signal from the output means 124 is obtained as a reproduction signal of the image. |
