PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of decreasing the number of connecting pieces for supplying power to a printed board and constructing small the body in the in-line laid direction of connecting pieces. SOLUTION: A connector is equipped with a body 1 having a wall 12 confronting another wall 11 and a right-angle wall 13 perpendicularly intersecting thereto and formed approx. in a rectangular shape, a first power contact 2 in which a first contacting piece 23 to make contact with the electrode of the first external power supply part is formed parallel on the right-angle wall 13 of the body 1, and a second power supply contact 3 in which a second contacting piece 31 to make. contact with an electrode pin in the second external power supply part is formed parallel on the other wall 12 of the body 1, and is mounted on a printed board installed in an electric apparatus. Therein a short-circuiting piece 33 to shortcircuit between the first and second power supply contacts 2, 3 is provided on either of the two contacts 2 and 3, and the connecting piece 21 to be connected with the printed board is connected electrically with the shortcircuiting piece 33 and installed parallel on one wall 11 of the body 1. |
