PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric filter which makes it possible to manufacture a filter that is made small-sized and light in weight and easily controls a filter characteristic. SOLUTION: This dielectric filter forms an open area where the rear face 107 of a dielectric filter block 101 coated with dielectric material is not coated with conductive material in the arrangement direction of resonance holes 103 or between the resonance holes 103 and forms coupling capacitance and coupled inductances between the resonance holes. Coupling capacitance is formed on the front face 105 of the dielectric block that is not coated with conductive material between the resonance holes and a conductor pattern in a fixed size which offers load capacitance to the respective resonance holes.
