PURPOSE:To obtain a blow-molded hollow article composed of a polyphenylene sulfide resin, a thermoplastic polyester and a modified polyolefin, having excellent appearance, heat-resistance, chemical resistance and impact resistance of the molded article and useful as a pipe for hot fluid, etc. CONSTITUTION:The objective blow-molded hollow article can be produced by blow-molding a composition produced by compounding (A) 100 pts.wt. of a polyphenylene sulfide resin containing >=70mol% (preferably >=90mol%) of the recurring unit of formula and preferably subjected to hot-water treatment, etc., after polymerization, (B) 5-80 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic polyester resin having a melt-viscosity (25 deg.C) of preferably >=1.2 (preferably polycyclohexylene dimethylene terephthalate, etc.), (C) 5-80 pts.wt. of a modified polyolefin composed of an alpha-olefin and 1-50wt.% of an alpha,beta-unsaturated carboxylic acid glycidyl ester (preferably ethylene/glycidyl methacrylate) and (D) 0-200 pts.wt. (preferably 10-150 pts.wt.) of a fibrous and/or granular reinforcing material. |
