摘要 PURPOSE: To make it possible to obtain a reflection characteristic having good directivity by forming a diffusion layer having a refractive index distribution within a plane having a flat surface between the reflection layer on one substrate and another substrate. CONSTITUTION: Aluminum is formed by sputtering as a reflection film 22 on a glass substrate 21. Next, a liquid mixture composed of a photosensitive copolymer prepd. by adding a methyl methacrylate as a dopant to a chloromethacrylate and toluene sol. of 4wt.% is applied as an org. material film 23a on the substrate 21. This coating is then irradiated with UV light 25 via a prescribed photomask. The parts irradiated with the UV light 25 and the parts not irradiated therewith are formed by this photomask 24 and regions varying in refractive indices are formed in an org. material film 23b. The coating is then subjected to baking again, by which the reflection diffusion plate 20 formed with the org. material film 23 having the regions varying in the refractive index is obtd.
