PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microwave detector which allows the time taken for searching all the bands to be reduced, without deteriorating the detection accuracy if a multiband/wide band is adopted. SOLUTION: A receiving block 1 detects a microwave to be measured, a microcomputer 2 ultimately decides whether a microwave to be detected is detected through a signal identifier circuit 13, a receiving block 1 is fed with power intermittently through a switch 16 by the microcomputer and has a horn antenna 4 for receiving the microwave, and the antenna 4 is connected in parallel to receiving system, capable of detecting different frequency bands. Thus, all the receiving systems are used at the same time to detect and even if any receiving system receives the microwave, a detected output will result. If the number of the receiving systems connected to the horn antenna is increased, there is no need to increase the measuring time per detection.
