PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the foundation lifting-restoration method of a building and a soil-improvement method, by which sufficient restoration works and soil improvement can be executed under the state, in which a resident leads a common life, to a house building inclined by a disaster, improper works or the like and a soft defective ground having weak bearing capacity. SOLUTION: Compaction is conducted in such a manner that working spots of approximately 10-100 are set at the lower foundation places of the building and working holes 1 are excavated, and crushers and crushed stones are spread and entered alternately into the working holes 1 successively and pressed in order by pressure jacks 3. When an inclination is restored, a foundation lifting- adjustment process, in which the foundation base sections of each spot are pushed up to a horizontal level, is executed, supporting materials are interposed among the foundation base sections and the bases of the working holes 1 so that a foundation 2 holds the horizontal level, and finally the working holes 1 are backfilled by concrete placing.
