PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color correction system capable of accurately correcting balance in color of a projector. SOLUTION: This system is provided with a photo-diode 2 receiving a part of light projected from a projector 1 but not projected onto a screen and outputting a voltage according to the incident light quantity, a color correction video signal generator 3 for generating R, G, and B video signals for correction at a prescribed level, and an R, G, and B level corrector 4 for correcting each signal level of an R, G, and B video signals inputted from an external terminal. The R, G, and B level corrector 4 corrects each signal level of the R.G.B video signals for correction so that voltage values concerning each monochrome image light detected by the photo diode 2 are matched with each other, and corrects each signal level of the R, G, and B video signals inputted from an external terminal based on the corrected levels.
