The loom has a weft beating system which allows the use of a static reed (3). The weaving operation, with a static reed (3), gives a successive recoil of the shed (4), by a sequential reversal of the fabric take-off, while the warps form the shed. The reverse movements are applied through the rolls for the warps and the woven fabric. The reversing movements can also be through a fabric reserve station, using a moving axis between the two rollers for the wound warps or the fabric, or it is at least one roller with an eccentric rotary axis. The loom, with a fixed reed (3), has a camshaft to move the raised warps to open and close the shed, and it can shift the shed towards the fixed reed.
