PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight suspension bushing easily manufacturable having an elastic member equipped compatibly with an elasticity modulus and a certain durability. SOLUTION: At the root of an inner cylinder flange 14, a projection part 16 is formed over the whole circumference of an inner cylinder 12 in such a way as convex toward an outer cylinder 18. A rubber flange 24 of a rubber member 22 has a specified thickness E1 in the axial direction, but a constant modulus of elasticity is secured the flange 24 has a partial small wall thickness (E2) because of the projection part 16 formed on the inner cylinder 12. Owing to the overall wall thickness E1, the durability of the rubber member 22 is also heightened. Because the outer cylinder 18 is equipped with a certain bending rigidity, there is no risk that the outer cylinder flange part 20 is inclined at the time of pressure fitting to a suspension arm. No necessity for giving a large wall thickness to the outer cylinder 18 results in a lightweight construction, which leads to easy manufacture and processing. |
