PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily regulate the width or number of peaks of sound absorptivity in a resonance box-type slit structure sound absorptive panel, and easily provide an optimum sound absorbing characteristic. SOLUTION: This slit structure sound absorbing panel is formed out of one back plate 1 and a plurality of surface plates 3. Each plate 1, 3 is formed by bending a thin steel plate. The back plate 1 has a U-shaped section opened to the surface side, the surface plate 3 has a U-shaped section opened to the back surface side, and the surface plate 3 is mounted on the open part of the back plate 1. These U-shaped sections are adjacent in the edges 9, 11, 13 of the U-shapes, and the widths of slits S1, S2, S3 are set by the adjacent spaces. Further, the slit structure can be provided in multilayer form, and glass wool can also be used in combination.
