摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic photoreceptor capable of stably obtaining a clear image with high density, being free from causing the image unevenness attributable to interference fringes, at the time of repeatedly forming the digital image by exposing coherent light such as razor beams, and free from generating the deterioration of the electrophotographic photoreceptor resulting from excellent cleaning property. SOLUTION: As for this electrophotographic photoreceptor consisting of at least, an electric charge generating layer and the electric charge transporting layer laminated in this order on a cylindrical supporting body, a peripheral machining surface shape repeatedly composed with regularity in the direction along a center shaft of the cylindrical supporting body satisfies the next numerical formula, 100<=(a)×(b)<=300, and the layer thickness of the electric charge transporting layer is beyond 20μm. In the above formula, (a) stands for a repeat gap (μm) of the periphery surface shape and (b) is the surface 10 point average roughness Rz (μm) on the cylindrical supporting body.
