PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning device capable of rapidly feeding a recovered matter which is recovered by a cleaning means to the outside of a device in a short retaining time, so that the space for storing the recovered matter is made small and the entire device is miniaturized by that amount, and capable of supplying recovered toner for recycling which hardly produces image noise and further preventing the turnup of the edge of a cleaning blade, so that an image carrier is surely cleaned all the more. SOLUTION: This cleaning device 10 is provided with a cleaning blade 2. Then, it is equipped with a screw conveyor 3 (one example of a recovered matter carrying means) conveying the recovered matter, which is recovered from a photoreceptor PC (one example of an image carrier) by the blade 2 to both sides and feeding it to the outside of the device and a recovered matter supply means 4a for supplying the recovered matter toward a mutual contact part, between both ends of the blade 2 and the image carrier PC. |
