PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera, capable of surely photographing an aimed scene to be photographed by the prescribed number of remaining frames by securing in advance the number of remaining frames of film, serving a photographer's purpose and coping with delicate user's need with easy operation. SOLUTION: This camera is provided with a mode selection setting means 32 for selectively setting a consecutive photographing mode to perform consecutive photographing on the film and perform the feeding operation of the film, and also provided with a control means for temporarily stopping the consecutive photographing mode, while leaving the previously set specified number of frames. Then, the control means is provided with a remaining frame number setting means 45 capable of arbitrarily setting the specified number of remaining frames of the film. Then, the control means is provided with a remaining frame number informing means 51 which makes the number of remaining frames of the film to be notified.
