PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep the viscosity of a damper oil in a satisfactory, even at low ambient temps. by controlling the heating of a heating element so as to keep the viscosity of the damper oil such as silicone oil, etc., which is appropriate according to the variation of the detected ambient temp. SOLUTION: In a bobbin 10, a pointer shaft 30 is coaxially and rotatably supported and pierces a dial 40 to support a pointer 50 with the top end. A disc-like magnet 70 is supported coaxially at the mid position of the pointer shaft 30 and is turned, based on a composite electromagnetic force according to the input analog values from two cross coils 60. Silicone oil 80 is housed in a hollow 11 of the bobbin 10 to make contact with a lower part of the magnet 70 and its viscosity is enough to prevent the pointer 50 from overshooting through the magnet 70 and the pointer shaft 30. An annular heater 90 is mounted on the outer bottom of the hollow of the bobbin 10 and driven to heat the silicone oil 80 or stopped to stop heating the oil 80.
