PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency induction heating coil which is favorable for stabilizing magnetic characteristics of a magnetic-permeability core, and also favorable for prolonging the service life of the core. SOLUTION: In this high frequency heating coil 1 provided with a magnetic- permeability core 3 to improve the induction heating efficiency for an object to be heated, a water-holding member 5 is arranged in contact with or close to the core 3 so that the core 3 is cooled by holding a cooling water in the water-holding member 5. A heat insulating material is provided at the side of the core 3 nearer to the object.
