摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain downsizing and mass production by forming a beam-shaped oscillator out of a single-layer of a piezoelectric body layer having an electrode which is thicker than one layer of a layered piezoelectric body and is divided in the same direction as the electrode of the layered piezoelectric body, and detecting bending vibration due to the Coriolis force generated by the vibration of the oscillator and its rotational speed in the longitudinal direction. SOLUTION: In this device, an oscillator 4 is formed from a piezoelectric body 1 for detecting the bending of a beam in a single layer and a layered piezoelectric body 2 for vibrating the beam and fixed to a fixing part 6. The oscillator 4 resonance-vibrates greatly in the X direction when the layered piezoelectric body 2 vibrates in the lateral direction (X direction) of the layered piezoelectric body layers at the resonance frequency of the beam. The presence of an angular speed around the axis of the oscillator 4 (Z direction) permits a Coroilis force in the Y direction to be generated from a resonance movement in the X direction and an angular speed in the Z direction. The piezoelectric signals in the X and Y directions generated according to the magnitude of the bending on both sides of the piezoelectric body 1 are led from electrodes 3a, 3b to a detecting circuit through a lead wire 5.
