PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly sensitive electrophotographic sensitive body which is nearly free from the change or deterioration in the photosensitive body characteristics, such as lowering in the elelctrifiability, fluctuation in sensitivity at the time of repeated use and which is able to exhibit stable performance even when it is repeatedly used. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic sensitive body has a photosensitive layer on an electroconductive supporting body, and the photosensitive layer has the constitute that a charge generating layer and a charge transporting layer are laminated in this order or in the order reverse to the order. The charge generating layer contains a charge generating material and one or both of a positive hole transporting compound containing a chain polymerizable function and a cured material obtained by polymerizing or cross-linking the positive hole transporting compound.
