The magnetic transformer construction has a primary (1) with an alternating source (3) and a secondary (2) with a secondary winding (6) with an output bridge rectifier and load. The rectifier bridge had diodes (9,10) in series with the secondary winding. Two MOS transistors (11,12) are also in series, and can be switched to a pass state during a set time period.
