<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a synthetic aperture radar(SAR) signal processor in which a required memory capacity is small, in which a memory neck and a bus neck are not generated, and which can prevent the influence of a trouble from being expanded to the processor as a whole when the trouble is generated. SOLUTION: This signal processor is provided with a data division mechanism 11 by which observation data on an SAR are divided into a plurality of partial images, a plurality of data reproduction mechanisms 12 by which a compression processing operation in a range direction and an azimuth direction is performed with respect to the given partial images and which generate partial reproduction images with respect to the given partial images, and a data distribution mechanism 13 by which the plurality of partial images divided by the data division mechanism 11 are distributed to the proper data reproduction mechanisms 12. A plurality of partial images are processed in parallel by a plurality of data reproduction mechanisms 12.</p> |
