PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost, space and labor required for drain disposal, dispense with burden of a user, and reduce the environmental loading of an oil cooling type air compressor by incorporating a drain disposal device in the oil cooling type air compressor and by arranging a means for changing oil contained in drain into harmless one in the drain disposal device. SOLUTION: An outlet of a compressor body 5 is connected to an oil separator 6, and an air outlet in the upper part of the oil separator 6 is connected by a pipe passing through an aftercooler 7 and a refrigerating air drier 9 so as to be lead to the outside. An oil pipe continued from the oil outlet in the bottom of the oil separator 7 reaches an oil inlet of a compressor body 5 via the oil cooler 8 to constitute a circulating closed loop oil passage. A drain trap 10 is provided in a water outlet of the air drier 9 and its outlet is connected to the drain disposal device 11. In the drain disposal device 11, oil- decomposing agent by oil decomposing microorganism is arranged in the drain disposal device 11, and all of them are arranged on a base and surrounded with a cover 13 so as to constitute an oil cooling type air compressor.
