PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyester elastomer composition with high mechanical strengths, heat resistance and hydrolysis resistance, low in volatility when heated, and slight in gel content. SOLUTION: This thermoplastic polyester elastomer composition comprises (a) 100 pts.wt. of a polyester-type block copolymer, (b) 0.1-10 pts.wt. of a bifunctional or higher functional compound satisfying the chain extender heating loss defined by the relationship: (W1-W2)/W1<=0.1 (wherein W1 is sample weight before heat treatment; W2 is sample weight after heat treatment at 200 deg.C for 30 min) and having functional groups reactive with the terminals of the component (a), and (c) 0.1-5 pts.wt. of a stabilizer with a tertiary amine representing part of the skeleton.
