<p>The invention concerns a method for controlling in a smart card CPE, for transactions between said card and a terminal comprising at least an authentication session by the card which consists in decrementing, or incrementing, by one unit control counter CKDP at the start of the transaction and in re-incrementing it, or decrementing it, only if the authentication by the card is successful. When the counter reaches a threshold value, the use of the card is blocked, thereby preventing fraudulent use of the card in an attempt to discover the encryption keys KDP, SKP contained in the card.</p> |
