<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect abnormal sliding by using the sliding speed of a sliding door. SOLUTION: In this safety control method for a power sliding device of a vehicle sliding door, when the sliding speed SS in the lapse of designted time after a motor 7 is rotated does not reach a predetermined lowest speed ES estimated from the magnitude of a power supply voltage BV, it is regarded that abnormal sliding of the sliding door occurs. A control part stores the sliding speed SS in the lapse of designated time after the motor 7 is rotated as a reference sliding speed RS, compares the subsequently measured sliding speed SS with the reference sliding speed RS and it is regarded that abnormal sliding of the sliding door occurs when the sliding speed SS is decreased below a designated speed reducing width to the reference sliding speed RS, and the speed reducing width is set so that the higher the reference sliding speed RS is, the smaller the width is, and the lower, the larger.</p> |
