METHOD FOR USING TWO RELAY LINES IN LINE INTERFACE MODULE

PURPOSE: A method is for using two relay lines in a line interface module is provided to extend the subscriber accommodation capacity by operating two E1 links in a board of the same dimension by an improved circuit configuration capable of processing 60 channels in one board and by loading a software to drive the circuit configuration. CONSTITUTION: In realizing a software function as to the operation of a switch performed in the inside of a multi channel controller in case that signals from TDM A(300) and TDM B(310) are inputted to SCC 1 and SCC 2 or the signals are flowed on the contrary, a method comprises the steps of: operating a time slot assigner(110) by a serial interface clock router register; transmitting TDM A and TDM B to SCC 1 and SCC 2 respectively by controlling the time slot assigner and an SI RAM(100) by an operation; setting a corresponding protocol desired by each channel of TDM A and TDM B after transmission; sending the desired time slot to SCC 1 and SCC 2 respectively; and transmitting the time slot and setting up a dual port RAM and the SCC channel characteristics appropriately.
